#5 Chaska @ #4 Holy Angels 2-21-08
Two years ago the Stars won 8-0, last year 10-3, Could Chaska pull the upset this year when it matters?

I have heard that Webb has been sick and not at school for over a week. I do not think that Trebil has any choice but to play Boerger.....stars612 wrote:I agree, but I highly doubt that Trebil will abandon his rotation...tjkhavgam wrote:Who's playing goal for AHA. If they settle on Boerger they have a chance to win the section. They would have won it last year if they had played him.

I say Chaska 4-3 in this game. AHA is down this year. Chaska has been playing good teams tough. If the goalie is on. Chaska wins.
AHA will take Chaska lightly. I doubt we have to worry about either of these teams down the path to the X.
5-0 AHA final. It was pretty one sided. Final shots were around 40-45 for AHA and like 16 for Chaska. Trebil took the key players (Mattson, Raskob, C. Reilly, etc) out about 2-3 minutes into the third.
Mattson had one of the prettiest goals I have seen this season on AHA's 4th goal.
The goalie from Chaska was good although the save % doesn't really show it. He stopped a lot of tough shots.
Good luck boys!
Third times a charm.
Yes this is true. I found out after I posted that. Webb has mono and is done for the year. Boerger is playing amazing and will be the man for the rest of the year. 4 shutouts in his last 5 starts. Hopefully he can get #6 on saturdayTCQQL wrote:I have heard that Webb has been sick and not at school for over a week. Mattson's goal was over halfway through the 3rd, so how could he have been taken out in the first 3 minutes of the 3rd?stars612 wrote:Good call...slasher wrote:Doubters![]()

It was on a powerplay. I'm sorry what I should have said was they started playing 4th liners and JV kids. And Chaska still couldn't score.mnhock20 wrote:Mattson's goal was over halfway through the 3rd, so how could he have been taken out in the first 3 minutes of the 3rd?stars612 wrote:Good call...slasher wrote:Doubters![]()

Actually this was one of the better crowds this year at Richfield, for either school. The Chaska fans only had something to cheer about in the first when they were taking shots at the Reilly's, someone said they wouldn't. I saw an awful lot of high elbows on those boys.BrookPark021 wrote:No, definetly not a playoff atmosphere. You didn't miss much.yaman wrote:Was it a good crowd tonight? I couldn't make it.
STARS played pretty good and as I have said will be ready to play and upset the Hornets. I am bringing the fly swatter.....

It had better be a pretty big fly-swatter!Zamman wrote:Actually this was one of the better crowds this year at Richfield, for either school.
