Gopher9 is the most arrogant poster on this forum. Hands down. EP fan, I would expect nothing less..... How many goals did Breck have against Alex.. 0!!!!!!! ya, shut it.
So GOCARDS1,

You're pissed at one EP fan so you paint with a broad brush. On the contrary, EP fans have shown remarkable restraint over the past several years on this forum. It's likely no team has received as much grief -- and yet how often do you hear their fans lash back. Not too often. Anyone out there in forum land disagree?
Don't be silly. How many EP fans are there? Maybe three. So one shows restraint. That is not a majority.

No, just that particular EP fan. I have found nothing wrong with any other EP fans.

Looks like a tie at this point. But then we know everyone in GR has 3-4 ids. I am just glad there was not a section 1A line in the ballot. Then we would of seen a lot of votes.

Alexandria, 08 state champs. I like the sound of that.

Ok, I am naive WHY in the world would people have 3 or 4 IDs? Obviously people have way more time than I do!!

Good luck to all the teams this weekend and hope they enjoy themselves playing in state!

I've only seen BSM, EP, Breck, and GRG... but I must say

BSM's first line seems to be unstoppable lately. Bacon-Burns-Schluter seem to be working really well together. BSM's 2nd line is just as good too. #7-#11-#12 dominated the Hopkins game in both ends

I would say that all of EPs lines are pretty solid. Having 12 seniors definitely helps. And Seeler is the best defense I have seen in a LONG time.

Breck's 1st line doesnt have the speed of BSM and EP, however they are still very solid. I hope Breck takes the Class A title

As for GRG, I have only seem them play once and it was earlier this season. I don't know if they have changed things up or not, but I was definitely impressed watching them play together.

I'd be willing to bet a hot bag of mini donuts that 'cardswinagain' isn't from Alexandria. Or is a Abby stalker.

I was thinking more of an Abby Parent. Are they accounted for on the forum? Looks like an Alex and Abby promotion.

Knowing Herbst as I do, he probobly evened out the lines to play 3 solid lines for the playoffs. You could put Kate Bacon with just about anybody and she will put the puck in the net!

Actually the first two lines ARE very evenly balanced. Since settling on his final line combinations each line has been working very well together, and the first two have each been scoring almost equally. In the playoffs he's been playing the third line, but depending on the situation sometimes they'll either take their regular shift or will only see spot duty. They've certainly been holding their own, and then some. Also for the last couple of regular season games and during the playoffs he's pretty much gone with only 4 defensemen, and each pair is also balanced and sees equal time.

Gopher9,

I will never understand what your issue is with Alex. Jealous, because some people are proud of their team or what? You really p### me off at times. I have often wondered who you are but on the other hand it is probably a good thing I don't know your true identity. Exchanging words with you in person would make my day. But I will refrain just because I have to. So, if you can't be a little positive please keep it shut. Yeah, cuz that would be a good thing.

I agree with offsides, EP has taken a lot of crap over the years. Next season they will take a lot of losses  , so give them a break. Hate to say it gocards1 but I like Roseau or Breck over your squad. We will soon see and good luck.

I just do not like your opinion of Breck just throwing the puck at the net after you are dominated and saved by your goalie. Get off the Coolaid and just enjoy your squads success. 8)

Who cares, I finally got to see them play yesterday and I'll tell you what, not impressed. 181 points against what competition. Granted, they play about a half a dozen games against good competition, but then the rest of their schedule is a steady diet of candy. What decent line in the state wouldn't put up those numbers? For all the hype I've read about them on this forum, I honestly expected more. South St. Paul is not the best team down here and that game shouldn't have been as close as it was if Alex was that good. I did like Anez, she will be a force to come, but as for the others, well not so much.

well I hope they change your mind tomorrow!
I have a feeling they will.

Also, I do feel that SSP is the 4th or 5th best team there. No slouch. They could any team there a run.

I have to admit, that top line played a much better game against Roseau. I still don't see all the hype in #12. She's good, but honestly, I've seen a half dozen down in the cities that I would take over her and they don't have a ride to NoDak. Good for her and best of luck to her!
