Feasible is correct. They already took out Duluth East, and played Anoka tough the 2nd time around. Anoka won a 1 goal game, iced the cake with the empty net, but Elk River will be ready the 3rd time around. Remember when the Vikings took out the Packers in the playoffs after the Pack crushed them twice during the regular season?Jacketfan06 wrote:haha all the way to state? do you really think that? i dunno if they can compete to well with GR.DE and anoka. but hey i guess its feasible

This should be a great game. I'll take Cloquet in two overtimes. We're looking at a 3-2 game.

7:00, Cloquet Arena.
Should be an excellent game for a quarterfinal. Elk River isn't quite as good as the top 4 seeds in the section, and I think Cloquet should win. But an upset sure wouldn't be surprising in this one. Though the Elks aren't bad, I doubt they can pull off several upsets in a row and make a run at serious run at State.

No, but you can get the live radio feed from the prephockeynorth website, or whatever it is listed above. They just said Kyle Hennum has played every minute thus far this season goal tending for the Elks, but will be benched this game for disciplinary reasons. Pretty interesting to see how that plays out.
