Ok, so who wins this one? Roseau or Alexandria? Lets get some feed back, comments etc. going. This "bored" has been kind of quiet. It is State Tourney time. Good luck to both teams! It should be a great one!

I would expect it to be quiet--all their fans are in St. Paul, away from their homes and computers.

You make us sound like ignorant hicks. Can you say "laptop and wireless internet." Alex by 3 goals, and that does not include an emptynetter. Ladies you were the best dressed last night. Looked like state champs.

Daughter's team played (and lost to) both teams this year, I believe Roseau will take Alex. Roseau seems to be a classier act from the players to the fans. They don't need to get on here and brag, they just show it on the ice. Go Rams!

It's a good thing you didn't give Justice any of that stuff you guys are on! I see you got out shot again and won. Her back has got to be pretty sore by now? Hopefully you have a back brace for her when you play Roseau, because shes going to need one!

This one's a flip of the coin. Roseau is prone to penalties. They need to stay out of the sin bin.

I am picking Roseau, -- the better team and the better story.
look at who they will have to beat to become state champs.
# 7 Crookston
# 6 New Prague
# 4 Warroad
# 3 Alexandria
# 1 Breck or Hibbing or Austin <<--- could be easiest game for them.

gopher9, maybe you should attend the games before you open your big mouth. Shots mean very little in how the game actually went. Scoring chances were much in favor of Alex.

and bensonmum and flyingV... isnt that what this forum is made for? to discuss hockey and support your favorite teams. Obviously, Alexandria fans are not the only ones that our proud of their team.

Should be a GREAT game! Went and watched them play each other during the regular season when they played to a tie.

Total disrepect to the players from Marshall and Austin...nice to insult kids, coaches, fans, and parents you don't even know....Real man or whatever you are...let them enjoy there time here and don't pretend you are God's gift to Minnesota hockey. I wasn't putting down the fact that they made it to the state tournament. I'm just saying that it is unfortunate that SSP or New Prague for example, aren't in the semifinals, because I consider them better teams. But the draw is random, so what can you do I guess.

Just curious, but in the article it states that Roseaus team had the Student Manager dress as a goalie because they need to have 2 dressed for the game.
