Just curious, but in the article it states that Roseaus team had the Student Manager dress as a goalie because they need to have 2 dressed for the game.

But if she is not on the Roster can she even be on the bench?
Here is a list of there Roster from the MSHSL

Would that not be an Illegal player???

I would think they would have to take someone off there roster!

Don't coaches set their roster before they play in the state tournament? Put her on it then.

Not sure but I think they have to be set in Dec.

What happens if a varsity player gets hurt or has something like say, I don't know, Mono for example

. Players can fill in for them in the regular season. A play off roster is set before sections and i thought re-set before state. I may be wrong on this but I thought that is how it works.

i am fairly certain the section roster is not set til very near the end of the season. December would be far too early.

I was just wondering, because this was the day before the game that they found out. So if rosters had to be set even as late as Monday of this week they may not have had her on it.

I think that Roseau should be kicked out of the tourney because I heard that if the manager got the flu, they were going to dress a mom, and if the mom got sick a grandma.
