Allways a great game and allways close, one goal changes the momentum enormously but i will have to say 3-1 Duluth East Greyhounds

I am pretty sure a homocide will not be part of this game. Last time I checked these two teams split the season series. This will be a tight one or two goal contest.

While I'd certainly love to see this go into running time, I think anyone who knows this rivalry will agree with me that it's impossible. East may be more talented, but that really means very little in this game.

East needs to come out with the same strategy as the last game...control the flow of play and hit Jokinen early and often. If they can shut him down, they've essentially shut down the Lumberjack offense. If they shore up their passing, it's East's game to lose. I'll go with 3-1 Greyhounds. But I know this rivalry well enough now to know that almost anything can happen.

Fluke and Luck.
So then you're saying that it was a fluke that they beat clouqet in the final, or luck they beat edina the #1 seed in the quarters. How about Bursnville in the semis. Then they lost to the best team this state has seen in ten years. I wouldn't call that a fluke or luck. I call it better than the hounds.

It will be pretty full, but probably not a sellout. The game starts at 10 AM not 11. Game two of the semis starts are 12, the UMD women play at 3:45, and the UMD men cap off the hockey filled day at the DECC with the 7:37 finale.

To contribute further to the thread I'll take East in convincing fashion 4-1.

Best team this state has seen in ten years?? That's more than a bit of a stretch. That's the kind of stretch which would put most people in traction.

I don't know, Alaska time is 3 hours earlier so that might be a clue.
