Irondale was a very good team this past season. They have an excellent nucleus of young players, and will only get better in the next few years. I do however think they got overrated this past season, especially by the StarTribune, who had them ranked as high as No. 5 very late, just before sections, even as they stumbled and lost a couple of games just beforehand. Next year they may well deserve all of the publicity, and I think they will have a very good chance to win their section and get to the State Tournament.
