HAL down 4 to stupid human coaches

In the possible upset of the century, section seeding committees have a 4 win lead over the ever omniscient HAL, who must have a cold. Could this be the year folks that HAL loses to a human? YES IT CAN HAPPEN!

My money was on either you or Joe bringing this up.

Fair enough; I'm here to crow about it when HAL beats the coaches, which is nearly every season (only twice in this century has HAL not beat the coaches, and they tied those two times).

But there is still a lot of hockey left. There are at least four disagreements with the seedings in upcoming games. However, if I was a betting man, I'd bet on HAL losing. So I'll have to scrap PS2 and never post it again. Which will delight every poster who felt their team was dissed by the system, and those who don't understand it is a system.

In the meantime, blast you, Buffalo! Twice in 13 months you've made me sick.

HAL's response is:

HAL has made up two games and now sits -2 to the seedings; four upcoming games have HAL picking the lower seeded team:

Mankato West over Rochester Lourdes
Mahtomedi over South St Paul
Duluth Denfeld over St Cloud Cathedral
East Grand Forks over Park Rapids

It ain't over yet! (but the pick of West over Lourdes makes me cringe a bit)

HAL is now down by a single game. Sorry for Park Rapids and their fine season, but hey....HAL knew

Besides the three games still to be played where HAL has picked the lower seeded team, we also have a possible conflict should Blake and Breck advance in 2A. In other words, HAL needs at least two of the three remaining disagreements in order to claim a tie. Blake vs Breck could decide the whole thing on 2/28. So.....go Mustangs!

And, yes, I have too much free time on my hands this week.
