How about the 10 year olds take a break for a while to play golf or baseball so they aren't burned out by the time they are 16?!

Did you ever think that a kid can do 2 things at once? I know plenty who play baseball or soccer and hockey at the same time.

What do you do if your kid wants to play once the winter association is done?

Its real simple you worry about what's right for your kid and let everybody else worry about their own children.

Actually, most the boys on this team play baseball as well! They are not penalized for missing an occasional practice like you would see on another team and they don't practice 3 or 4 days a week. Holding quality practices out weighs quantity of practices. Sunday evening practices also allows for families to spend the weekend [/u]together at the lake home.

Ulfie...are you for real?

Is it possible that there are some kids that enjoy playing hockey year round.

Maybe since your kid collects stamps...he should only do it three months out of the year???
