#1 St. Cloud Cathedral vs #4 Hermantown

Post by puckmaster69 »

Hermantown is a good team but they need to pick it up to beat SCC in the semis on saturday...both teams have good players, but seem a little soft in the net. What are some thoughts about the game on sat in cloquet?

Soft in the nets. I don't buy that Cathedral's has a pretty good goaltender from what I've seen. He can get hot and carry his team. Also I do think that Hermantown will have to step it up to beat the catholics :D

SCC 4
Hermantown 2

After a not very impressive win against Mora, I'm definately going to go with the boys from St. Cloud Cathedral.

Yep, I like SCC's D. Held my Flyers to 1 goal. Not an easy task.

SCC 3 Hermantown 2.

Sounds like both teams were missing players in their late season battle.

Can't be surprised by Hermantown's struggles last night. I don't believe they had played since their game vs. Cathedral on 2/12. It's tough to be crisp after a week+ break.

Tomorrow's game should be a nailbiter.

SCC 4
H-Town 1

AND I predict an SCC vs. SR final... with SCC taking that win as well

But then again, I'm AT BEST batting .500 in my predictions...

I'm about the same my man. However, I think Duluth Denfeld is going to turn some heads and win this section.

A reminder that this game can be heard in the Hermantown/Duluth area on WEBC The FAN 560 AM and online for everyone at www.fan560.com

Pregame will begin around 1:45... or whenever I get out of DECC traffic after the East/CEC game :D

i know SCC was out one of there top defensemen but hermantown was out two players no to mention everyone was sick. Also, hermantown hasn't lost in the Cloquet rink in quite sometime.

Hermantown jumps out to an early lead and wins

3-2

B&G, when you get to 51% with your predictions, head to Vegas right away.

It'll be interesting to see if SCC can crack their Cloquet rink jinx, where they've ended their season each of the past 3 years.
