I'm sure if the situation was reversed, you would feel differently.AngusYoung wrote:Pacman is dead right. Blaming the officials for a loss is the oldest trick in the book - what a bunch of whiners. Come to the game and play with the rules the refs are running with that night. If your team plays with the same mentality it will be a long night for the I. Falls club. They appear to have the more talented team and with the 'Jackets allegedly running shorthanded due to some suspensions, they should end up on top.

Roseau played a weak schedual? They are by far and all out great team. With Ness on defense the Rams are unstoppable.GoGoGophers wrote:theref wrote:
By the way, by saying that the Falls' schedule is weak, that is saying that Hibbing, Roseau, Grand Rapids, Hermantown, and Virginia are all weak.
Hibbing plays a tough schedule. I dont know much about Hermantown or Rapids. I also belive Roseau plays a weaker schedule. And Virginia's schedule is weak.
Jackets always win at IRA. And they find a way to get it done. They've gone to the finals quite a few years in a row. Expect that trend to continue.
PRIVATE SCHOOLS RECRUIT!!

The ref was saying that when Gophers said the falls had a weak schedule, that the tougher teams (like Roseau) were also weak, because the falls had an apparently "weak" schedule.cajones18 wrote:Roseau played a weak schedual? Im going to say its going to be 3-1 for hibbing.
P.S. that northern hockey or whoever person doesnt represent the rest of the falls fans. Im from the Falls, and i think that the falls played a dumb game against hibbing when they lost.
And really, there is nothing to be fired up about after beating ely, its like beating a team full of really crappy hockey players.
all they wanted to do was fight!

I agree that you cant really get fired up after beating ely, but if there was anything to take out of that game the falls got it, ely had like 2 SOG that were not from the blue line or further, going into this game I'm sure the falls knew that they were not going to have to bring there A game, heck they could have brought there D game and won that one.. But they still brought the A game a gave a dominating performance, they played almost as well as they could, which i think will help them in this next game.

I think Hibbing knows how it feels, they've lost in the section finals the last 3 years and I think that will give the seniors a lot of motivation to step it up to get to the X. Sandstrom needs to have a big game, though, if they want to have a chance.fallsfan03 wrote:I cant wait for the Falls to beat hibbing for the final time this year. I'd love to see a 3-2 overtime victory over hibbing, so they know exactally how it feels. Go Falls!
Falls 3-2 OT
HIBBING/I FALLS
turn out the lights the game is over. HIBBING 3 I FALLS 1.

Correct Prediction!!pacman wrote:Would Falls Fans SHUT UP about the damn refs, Honestly, I Falls was Out played Plain and Simple, And Big Woop you beat Ely.hockeylover34 wrote:I'll take the Falls on this one, if you were actually at the last match up between these teams, you would know that the refs were all for Hibbing.
Hart just played an outstanding game against Roseau, and he's got it in him to do it again. The Broncos will pull through, especially after their domination of Ely.
Falls 5-3
Jackets: 3 EN
Broke Back Broncos: 1
And I dont want to hear this OOO the Refs screwed us out of this game bullcrap because The Refs were Bad Both Ways tonight, and Hibbing once again, outplayed Falls.
