sounded like a good late game, as has all season two quick goals is what killed the Otters and a strong goaltender. I believe the battle hardened team (not the banged up one previously mentioned) should give the three time champs a run. Does anyone else think that Little Falls is NOT the only team that can win this section????
One thing is for sure, this section IS as competitive and the level of hockey being played is as high as its ever been. Whoever does win the right to the big show should have enough to make some noise. I'm gonna say the final will be Alexandria by 1.

Yes, two quick goals, and too many stupid penalties. Once again, by the infamous Torin Gaffke. This game could've easily been a 6-0 game, but Lofquist stood on his head for the entire second period and of the 3 goals allowed by him 1 was a result of a flukey bad bounce off the endboards, and one was an absolute SNIPE by I believe Markstrom. The other was a rebound that he could've probably controlled but no one was there to clear away the trash.
The turning point in the game though was in the 2nd period, when Cody Peck was dragged down and awarded a Penalty Shot. He tried to make a move and Hemmingway stoned him. Peck really didn't have a good game at all which is a shame. He ended the season 2 points from tying a single season school record and ended up tied for PP goals in a career. I believe he is 4th all-time in career points. An impressive note for that is that he did it in 3 years while the 3 ahead of him (Josh Anderson, Ryan Miller, and Greg Buckmeyer) did it in 4 years.
I don't think Cody will continue his hockey career after this by his own doing. He wants to go into the medical field and I think that hockey is almost an afterthought to him as he moves into the college ranks.

Should be a very good game. I'd like to make a prediction but I think it's too close to call.
