Breck was still cheering pretty loudly after they had scored like their 6 or 7th goal.... a bit uncalled for.
If you decide to cheer for breck, than suit yourself, because I think the entire alex community(fans, players, coaches) is classier than Breck.
Everyone at the state tournament is classy but Breck is one of the classiest.

Absolutely. You hate to see the dominant team lose, but it fun to see a goalie get a well deserved win. She's a star.

You must be one of those arrogant Breck fans. haha. Like I have said before, scoring chances and shots are two very different things. Just give credit where its due and congratulate the Cardinals. 27-1-2... they must have done something right.. :)

I'm sixteen. What's your excuse? Funny, I don't see any Breck people on here talking smack. You must be one of those ignorant Alex fans, oh, that's right you are. All anyone has to do is read your posts. And I think I did compliment your team, well, your goalie anyway.

Adults leave this board! You ARE ignorant. You didn't beat my team, never could, never will. Oops, too small, just like your impulse control.

winger it truly shows that you are 16 because if you were an adult I don't think such pity comments would bother you, because it seems that nobody else really cares, let the cardinal fans do what they want, they won state so let them have their glory.

Alex did win the state tourny and they have a right to boast and brag a little. They are the number one team in the state and they earned that right. Whether they got outplayed or not. The game was controlled by breck in shots wise yes but scoring chances very even. Same for the roseau game. Alex got outshot 2-1 but scoring chances were something like 11-10 and alex had a 11 and they won the game. when it comes down to it thats all that really matters is the score. Winger I think your comments embarressed your self kind of ridiculous

We were just toying with Breck. We knew we would take advantage of our scoring chances and seal the deal. Good players, (ALEX), produce when given the chance. They do not whiff (BRECK). Another win for the Public's. Private's can not always buy their hardware. Sometimes you have to earn it. I think all those silver spoons, in Breck's mouths, made it hard for them to breathe and last. :D GO CARDS.

Congrats to Ms. Justice and the Cards on the State Championship!

Just remeber Breck has a young team and you will see them again.
I hope your constant bashing of those young girls does not come back to haunt you or your team next year.

I am not a Private school fan by any means, but I do know some of those girls and they are good kids.

Be a good and Gracious winner.

I know. And it's true, I guess I am acting my age, unlike the Alex moms. I am trying though, be nice if they could too.

Please don't assume that everyone who is posting on Alex's behalf is an Alex mom or parent, for that matter. We have many fans, some who are not living in the same household as our players. And, as noticed in the dates of their first posts, are new fans. We appreciate their positive support, but not at the cost of insulting our opponents. I have spoken to a few of the Breck players and their parents and have found them to be very gracious. The players have my respect for the great competition that they offer. The rivalry between the two teams has been fun and entertaining this year. Congratulations to Breck for their win at Sections and for their Second Place award at State. Lord knows, we would have been thrilled for that title the last few years!

Danielle Justice was fantastic. I saw all the games , both classes. She was by far the reason Alex had a chance to win vs Breck. Conrats and good luck to her. Thanks for a great tourney.

Just an FYI, Breck did control most of the game had more, better shots, and had the most scoring chances. Alex got the game winning goal was of a REALLY lucky shot, where as Breck's goal was skill. "I think all those silver spoons, in Breck's mouths, made it hard for them to breathe and last." Not really, cause Breck didn't choke, Justice is just a really good goaltender that stopped most of the shots.

It may have been a lucky goal, but it was the result of hard work and hustle.
Also, I'd have to say Alex's first goal was "skill", as you put it.

Better to be born with a silver spoon than a shovel! Sucks to have money I guess.
Shut up and play!
