Neutron - Is there any truth to hill politicking to move Centennial? if so, what do you know about it?

How do think the Cougs will do in the playoffs? I've seen them play twice this season, but I'm always interested.
It is true. Hill could not stand another year of watching Cent beat them and Hill got tired of seeing Cent go to state every year.

Man, I wish Hill had that much power to move teams around. If they did, they would have never allowed Johnson back into ours!

pistol may be on to something here.

He hasn't quite pinned down the exact reason for it being Hill's year. He is restricted due to his "Kerry Catholicism" and seeks to find secular reasons for predicting success.

A more faith based creationist analysis, however, does support pistol's position.

Hill wins when Easter is early.

This year, Easter is early.

Its that simple. Believe.

If only all of the Hill boys would stay in their respective public schools, it would be so much better. The only reason ANY of them are at Hill is to play hockey. They may say it's for the education but if they had financial problems or a broken leg, there would be an exodus from the school. Stay home.....save your parents money for something that really matters, like a college education.

If PPG doesn't mind, I'd like to take another shot at Johnson.

Drugs, gangs, violence, and inferior hockey... Herb Brooks is turning in his grave.

Why does anyone send their kids to Johnson these days?

In Who does Johnson believe? For what does it stand? It has become no more than an old building, and by the time its graphitti-stained walls crumble to dust, not many will notice. Nothing distiguishes Johnson from any other city public school. Since we do not have vouchers in this state, kids only go to Johnson if their families cannot afford something better or do not care.

Buildings may come and go, but Hill-Murray will always stand for the God-given values contained in Hill's charter.

Hill is more than hockey... it is a religion.

Take that, Traitorboy Packer, the Original double R.U.S.H agent!

I know that you're waiting for me to respond to this, but I won't... I'll just wait for Lee to lock this up and ban you. Then that'll be one less uninformed, lying, pompus HM idiot to deal with.

Reason #5 why this is Hill's year:

It is official, we have the best senior goalie in Minnesota.

Joe Phillippi has won the Frank Brimsek Award which is given to the state's top senior goaltender.

Happy Valentines, Gov (you don't give as good as you get)!

Sorry to say, but you just did respond. Pistol opened up a wound with that one.

Govs, I'm a little disappointed with you asking Lee for help. I would expect more from a fellow eastsider.

pistol's point is well taken and I, for one, am encouraged by his spritual reawakening.

While religious people such as pistol and myself seek guidance and inspirtion from God, Govs invokes the help of Lee, the message bored moderator.

Well, luckily for Govs and his crumbling grafitti stained world, its not too late. Stations of the Cross at 6:30 tonight . Govs, join us. Lee wont be there.

But with all of this talk about our intervention on behalf of Govs, we are sidetracked from the real issue which is: Why do they have Valentines Day during Lent? What a bunch of nonsense that is. Colorful flowers and candy... love and joy. Totally inappropriate during lent.

HM won't win it this year even if Easter is early. Too many really good teams ahead of them.

I'd have to agree that Hill's chances of winning it all this year are slim. I have them as possibly the 5th best team. However, if they can get thru sections, play down the street from the Cathedral, get some devine intervention, who knows. I still believe & hold on to my faith! [-o<

5th best team? 4th best, at worst.

I'd have to say, assuming they are the section 4 champion, they would be seeded ahead of the following sections (again assuming #1 seeds win): 1, 3,5,7. I'd only put Edina, Roseau and Minnetonka (based on head to head matchup) in front of them.

Then again, this means nothing if they go belly up on the sectional playoffs. WBL scares me. I can say one thing for Sager, though the haven't won against HM recently, they always play them tough in playoffs.

Roseville is playing pretty well & they have a goalie who could "steal" a win against Hill.

I'd rather he steal one from WBL. Let those 2 beat each other up in the semi-finals

Govs spurns Valentines and Packer tries to flatter though imitation (not to mention trying to mess up our numbering system). Don't you think PB is a lot funnier the first time he steals AP's lines? However, faith and science CAN agree that this is Hill's year. Packer says Hill-Murray gets an early Christmas present when Easter comes early, so the Pioneers will be celebrating like it's the Fourth of July (if you think Independance Day is secular, then you have not read the Declaration). Sorry I called PB a double R. U. S. H. agent, though... that was rash... must have been in a rush!

Reason #6 why this is Hill's year:

Bored loathing is at an all-time high.

Terry Skrypek said the Pioneers were hated because they were good.

The bored hate the Pioneers out of fear.

What do the Pioneers think of the teams represented by the bored?

They love you like Jesus loves the meek.

Even the top teams among you can barely inspire indifference from Lechner's lads.

Maybe the best senior goalie in regular season. But whenever Hill Murray goes to state... not so much.

Reason #7 why this is Hill's year:

Great Defense!

Everyone has heard that the best offense is a great defense...

Therefore, Hill-Murray must have a great defense, since the Pioneers have the best scoring offense in Minnesota.

best scoring offense? define and elaborate. My cousin's peewee team could have a 1.00 record if they played in Hill's conference. WORST CITY CONFERENCE! To brag about anything you do in the regular season at Hill is laughable. Hill will fail this year at state (like they do so frequently) due to the fact their regular season doesn't prepare them for decent hockey.
