Hooking someone by the neck then deliberatly pulling him down and hurting the kid is very inapropriate for a high school level game.
It was really weak of the Marshall kid to do that. Not only did he hook him in the neck, but our forward, Stewart, went right into the bars and the goalie. He could've been really hurt and I think the Marshall player should've definitely been ejected, and the move is inappropriate on any level of hockey because it's just desperate and weak.
Here's a picture of it actually,

I know it's upsetting that the season is over, but at least stop from attempting to cut the other team's throat.

ogdahl is a hack

Post by eaglescout06 »

Wow! I didn't think it was that bad! I saw him take him down and then punch him when he hit the ice, but stick around the head (great picture). Bottom line is that Ogdahl is really a hack, he isn't that good of a player and showed it last night. Marshall played better tonight but then had to play bush league hockey in the end. Should be a very interesting game Friday. No prediction here.

Did anybody else hear anything about Marshall complaining about the refs? I bet they were complaining about all their pentalies, and the only reason they had to take all those pentalies is because they CAN'T skate with New Ulm.

What do you want them to say? I guess i do have one thing on my mind and that is how come at the the end of the game one of the officials came up to the New Ulm coach and was going to hug, but then stopped? what was up with that?

So #3 was a cheap player and even though he brought Stewart down... Stewart went and made the penalty shot to score a hat trick to make it 7-2... so the Eagles won. Regardless of how much of a "German prick" I am, my team won, AND by four goals.

p.s. Maybe if you're complaining about all the penalties, tell the Marshall team to play cleaner. I think they might've had a chance to keep the game closer if they could've kept their players out of the box.

I can't wait to see Litch vs. New Ulm, both teams looked great in their semi-final games.

First, get your facts straight. ethan came up to the nu coach to let him know that the goal judge that witnessed the whole take down had just brought to his attention that after #3 took stewart down, he then kicked him after he got up and while stewart was still laying on the ice. he went up the the nu coach to tell him he was sorry for not kicking the cheap ass out of the game because he was unaware of it at the time.

I expect a good game on friday. NU and Litch did play earlier in the season. New Ulm and Litch did not play well but pulled away with a close win. As of late litch has been playing very well. They will be a differnt team then what we saw earlier this season. New Ulm also has been playing well as of late. New Ulm and Litchfeild also have a nasty background and do not like eachother very well. I predict a very physical and close game. [/list]

From what I've seen about of both NU and Litch, friday's game should be a great section final.

I think NU's first line had 6 out of 7 goals against marshall and the last time NU and marshall played they had 8 of the 9 if i'm not mistaken, so if Litch can stop the dominant first line of NU and their goalie plays well like he typically does from what i've seen, then litch will make the trip to the X

I don't think we can look back to when litch and NU played last...these are two completely different teams at this point.

You're right about them being different teams... but I do think that even if Litchfield does hold NU's first line to one point, the NU defense is playing extremely well and will hold Litch to under 20 shots. I'd be surprised if more than one or two shots go in, and NU's defensemen can shoot to make up the difference. Either way, it's gonna be a great, tough, physical game.

More than half of the people in this forum are bias. he was stating his opinion. and it is true Redwood and marshall both had a tough time. I personally have not heard of litch or know alot about them as of late but i do not think any teams Litch has played in the past couple of games in this section playoff has a fast but physical first line like new ulm. Litch does have a good goal scorer that will have to be watched closely.

What are litchfeilds strengths? Everyone has talked about New Ulm and Marshall in detail but not much of Litch.

Litch has something no one else in this section has. GOALTENDING. Litch will win because of their goalie they may get outshot but they will be able to score enough on New Ulms goalie Wiggins. If Fairmont scored 3 on him how many could a good team score on him and besides he is tiny and he wears huge pads and he cant even shuffle, its actually funny to watch.
