Strength of schedule means nothing otherwise Alex should have beat Little Falls both times. That didn't happen. This matchup favors Little Falls and I doubt it will be a repeat of the game in Alex. LF will play much better and get off close to 40 shots. Like I have said before Alex better stay out of the box or this one won't be close.

The scary thing right now about Alex, besides them playing well at this point, is the whole town is on a hockey high (probably) with the girls winning state. If the boys can ride that momentum, it could get scary.

LOL The only reason they won the state tourney was because of that girl (Michell Anez) who transfered there from LITTLE FALLS!!

She had the game winner vs. Roseau and Breck.

I wouldnt say thats the reason. Im sure Danielle Justice's 40 plus saves in both games had something to do about it. And abby Williams 45 goals on the season.

And I know the girls winning has gived them alot more motivation

She had both game winners. What part of that do you not understand?? Yes, the Goalie played well, but with out the game winners you still would have lost.

Typical though, the team that won the state tourney recruited the best.

No they may have gone into overtime, or somebody else would have scored. I dont know how taking those goals away makes us lose the game. it just makes it a 1-1 tie then. What part of that dont you understand?

haha thanks ap!!

can't use the cathedral comparisons...the cathedral/lf game was not very well played, both teams were sluggish and were coming off holiday tournaments and both were a little worn down and tired....I think LF's experience and talent will help them and they will beat Alex 5-2....if sperl is sliding all over the place and not playing well, Alex can win, otherwise i think LF comes out and controls most of the game...

=D> LETS PARTY. Finally someone other than me mentioned the fact that if LF makes it to state they can get a top four seed. It only took a month.

They were outplayed in both games, got good goaltending and timely goals from a Little Falls girl.

Congratulations your girls team is better then the boys wahoo!

Your boys team however, wont even make the state tourney, thanks in part to the men from LF. I wish they were playing this at Alex, how sweet would it be to win the section title over Alex on their home ice.

I want to know how people can say things like Alex is on more of a roll than LF? LF has like a 15+ game win streak and in those games they beat Alex twice. I also want to know how if it went by strength of schedule Alex would beat LF? Alex may have played better teams but they have no wins to show for it.

Hopefully LF brings in someone to work with their goalies as they don't have anyone on staff that has ever stopped a beachball.

Hope to see a good game but the outcome only means the winner loses the next two straight.

yeah considering Couture's oldest clone is 5 now, that would be interesting if he was a varsity goalie

I'll take the Falls in this one...

Seems like whoever flamer bets on takes a big dig. So I feel pretty safe.

I think Alex is gonna need more than motivation they'll prolly need a [-o<. Especially after flamer picked them they're screwed. Oh yeah brucey you can go talk girls hockey in the girls hockey forum not here.
