Nobody goes out and just has a bad game for no reason at all. Lots of people like to blame losses on a bad game, but that's just an excuse. Did you ever stop to think that maybe the team that won had a really good game and the loser who supposedly had a "bad game" just couldn't keep up? Whoever wins this game will win this game by playing well, not because their opponent is playing poorly.

To be honest Rosemount does take some dumb penalties every once in a while..but the thing is they gave up zero power play goals in the Cretin game..Woodbury gave up 1 i believe to eastviewpackerboy wrote:The 2 teams are similar except Rosemount takes some dumb penalties at times. At least they did in the CDH game.
Doubtful that they can do that against Woodbury and win.
Woodbury by a goal.
They both have great special teams and talented players..I believe Rose has more SKILLED players who do majority of the scoring (which is a lot)but Woodbury does have balanced scoring with Eddy leading the way.

See I think of that as one team having the game or its life and the other team looking like they're taking a night off because their opponent is playing so wellthe one to love wrote:One team taking a night off, and the other team having the game of its life.komada77 wrote:What happens a lot?the one to love wrote: Actually that happens a lot. I don't see Rosemount being able to stop Eddy and I think that Woodbury has a solid enough D and goalie to shut down Rosemounts gunners.
Lets see, they didn't stop Eddy, he got 3 goals. Wigen got pulled in the first after a having a shakey start, and the back up played like he has every other time the coach has given him a chance, very mediocore. Wigen has been much better than the first period of that game and he'll show that to all of you Rosemount fans once he shuts you guys down come Thursday.

It changed the momentum in the game no question. The Royals finally stepped it up and began clearing the front of the net. That first period was dominated by Rosemount who had a 5-3 PP that they scored on. Obviously not Wigen's best performance but in the end it doesn't matter too much. I don't think he's worried about the game about Rosemount any more. At least I would hope not.whatitdobaby wrote:STEV16
They didn't start the back up last time around. Wigen got pulled after giving up 3 goals in the 1st.
You also have to remember that Morgan played pretty poorly that game to. Both of these goaltenders have come a long way since then. It could be a high scoring game but I don't think it will be as high as the first time these two played which was obviously 6-5.
I just think you have to drop a little bit of what happened earlier. Both teams know their strengths and weaknesses by now and that is why this game is going to be much different than the first.

could that have anything to do with "lake c." bias?lakec wrote:I'm going with Rosemount in this one. Woodbury is on a roll but watching both teams Saturday night I think Rosemount is the better team. Rosemount seems to have their defense and goaltending playing well again and when they give up less than 4 goals they don't lose.

im feeling another high scoring game. last time rosemount was up by a few and woodbury got a flukey goal from the sideboards to tie it up. than by some higher power nate percy gets a hell of a shot off to win it with 13 secs left. i'll say 5-4 rosemount. nail-biter til the end just like last time. should be one hell of a game
