Alex Cards 2008 Class A State Champs!

Post by GOCARDS1 »

The Cards cap off an impressive season with a 2-1 win over Breck. What a year!!!!!! Great end to an amazing high school hockey career for Alex's seniors!

and I hate to say it, but I think that Justice might have proved to a lot of people that she is indeed the best goalie in the state. Maybe they should select Ms. Goalie after the state tournament. She gets my vote.

Not surprising that she gets your vote, she gets mine too!... As I said in a previous thread, she has stood on her head throughout the sections and State tournament. She didn't win Ms. Goalie and doesn't have a D1 commitment yet but if she didn't prove that she belongs in D1 after this run of games......WHAT THE @##@@ DOES IT TAKE!!!!!

Congrat's to Alex. I was pulling for Roseau in the semi's, but now I don't believe Roseau could of beat Breck in the finals, because it took an outstanding goalie to beat Breck, and Alex has that. She was stellar! Nice to see a north team win it. Too bad GRG couldn't of pulled it off, also.

I know you've taken alot of crap on this board for your support of Alex and not many gave Alex a chance to win the Title but have a little class and grace in Victory.

Deal with it???? Your team, town and fans represent better than that. Be proud, Be loud but win with class and lose with class.

Way to go Alex!

Speaking of class, winners need class as well.

Here is a quote that has a message that all can learn from.

"Great coaches teach respect for the opposition, love of competition, the value of trying your best, and how to win and lose graciously."

Congratulations to Alex on winning state!

Congratulations to all the participants in the state tournament and hope they enjoyed the experience!!!

I am absoloutly convinced that Justice can and should play D-1 !. yes she needs to make a couple minor adjustments in her play to facilitate that level but those are easy and fixable. If she goes to D-3 they will be getting the Best goalie in North America. IN MY OPINION.
