huh :?:

He said warroad will win by 2 with the score being 4-2.

I would say it will be more lopsided than that. If they've given up 3 to PR with 12:00 to go they'll probably give up 6 to Warroad. I don't think Christenson will play like Gothberg did.

An upset it certainly would be- not gonna happen though. Warroad wins big here, unless they slip Gothberg into Christenson's jersey.

SB,

You might have to cut him/her some slack.
He/she is either still drunk from last night or severely hung over.

Either way, he/she is obviously in shock and dillusional.

TT, just the person i wanted to see. If i remember right, you're a perennial EGF backer, but i haven't seen much talk of them from you this year. Who's your pick for Thursday night?

Yea, I don't have all the time some of these posters seem to have to spend on this Bored.

Anyway Well,

As much as I would like to see the WAVE in the X, in another Topic I did my predictions with the Section 8 Championship being between EGF and Warroad with the Warriors coming out on top 5 - 4 in overtime.

An earlier poster said that their would probably be a steady stream of elves to the penalty box in this one. I agree. It sounded like that even happened last night against PR. this appears to be Chupka's montra, if you will. And, although PR has Lerhke, Warroad has a lot more depth and will make the EGF penalties much more costly. So even saying 5 -4 in OT is probably optimistic.

The only saving grace for the WAVE is that first line can be very powerful when they are on and if they can somehow stay out of the box.......

Well, we will see on Thursday, won't we.......

:mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

My five Green and White smileys for good luck.
The WAVE will need it.....

Tough to beat any team 3 times in the same year. Warroad did it already with TRF, can they do it with EGF? Sure why not, but will be a hard-fought win. 5-3, empty netter seals the deal.

I'm not voting...

I have TWO theories for this game...

1. EGF Wins*
2. EGF Loses**

* -- Despite being out shot 16-7 in the first period by Warroad, East Side goes in to their lockeroom up 1-0 after 1. This boosting Christensen's confidence (which we all know is very dangerous when Alex is on fire)... Warroad continues to outshoot the Wave, but despite the QUANITY & QUALITY of Warrior shots, Christensen remains equal to the task.

Final Shots --> 37-24 in favor of Warroad
Final Score --> 2-1 East Grand Forks

==============

** -- Warroad get's a few quick goals which frusterates Christensen and sends him in to his inevitable downward spiral.
Final Shots --> 37-18 in favor of Warroad
Final Score --> 5-1 Warroad

That's just my 3 cents.. yes 3

I say egf plays the dirty grimy parts of the game, winning races, diggin the puck out of the corners, fightin for every lose puck, and playin with some heart because for all twelve of those seniors i know the want their last game in the X instead of up the road in trf, but ik warroads got a great team and they are the favorite to come away with this one, so it'll be a battle but i have to say

EGF-5 WAR-3
