Ya that was pretty lame but i think new ulm came back with the good ole seasons over chant for marshall and for some odd reason the marshall fans didnt have much to say.Goos_nu_eagles wrote:While we are on the subject of the hooking on Stewart's neck, I like that the Marshall fans responded with a "we hit harder" chant....

Sad. Bad players try to make up for their shortcomings by trying to hurt the good players. Unfortunately they are immature and ignorant to realize crap like this can result in a life changing injury. And ignore anyone who tries to condone it, they are too ignorant and dull to understand the basic tenants of good sportsmanship and too stupid too be ashamed of their very obvious lack of good raising. Their parents must be very proud of their asinine way of looking at life.mnhockey09 wrote:Heres step by step pictures of number 3's cheap play. Real classy marshall.

I do not believe with that statment about wiggins. Wiggins is actually a very good goalie. He may be short and small but hes adapted to that. Fairmont may have scored three goals but Shattuck St. Mary's only scored 4 and Holy Family only scored 5 and went into OT. Marshall is a good team also and all quality shots on Wiggins were denied. Marshall's goals were trash goals and not much you can do about it. Unlike other NU goalies Wiggins does keep a cool head and is smart with the puck. He steps it up during big games.

Not to mention, an unstoppable defense to support Wiggins.Innocentbystander wrote:I do not believe with that statment about wiggins. Wiggins is actually a very good goalie. I could "rock" Mike Tyson with a hockey stick in the neck and I bet he would be hurt pretty damn bad too.show_timer39 wrote:I think they responded with a "we hit harder" chant because Ogdahl rocked him in the face and then stewart laid there and took it. like a real dead fish right?!
It was a horribly cheap shot, do you honestly think the hit was legit?!

I'm sure you were one of the 7 people who actually enjoyed the XFL then? I'm also positive that if any New Ulm player would've done that, you would want to give the NU player a public execution. Man up, mature up, and just admit it wasn't legitimate. You just sound ignorant.justplay22 wrote:i think it was legit and i also think that stewart is a girl and he just took it like a plastic sex doll!

all this smack talk and #3 being cheap and taking stewart down like he was in a rodeo... hah.. I noticed alot of fan participation on both sides of the game.. marshal had nothing To cheer about.. and the new ulm chants were kinda lame.. but both were loud and filled the place with energy..... is that really the best new ulm fans can do?

Stewart took it like the smarter hockey player he is. Then he schooled the goalie on the penalty shot (his second of the season). I am sure that Ogdal kid thinks he is pretty cool for being able to haul somebody down from behind, but the fact of the matter is that Stewart beat him and made Ogdal look like a fool.show_timer39 wrote:I think they responded with a "we hit harder" chant because Ogdahl rocked him in the face and then stewart laid there and took it. like a real dead fish right?!
just to add to this little thing about thos of you who think wiggins isn't good enough. how many goals it litch's goalie let in against holy family? was the score 8-1? and ours was... 5-4 in ot. so if you're looking for the bad goalie. i think you're looking at the wrong team bud.Innocentbystander wrote:I do not believe with that statment about wiggins. i would much rather have the litch goalie he takes fifty shots a game...i just think if litch had a better defense and the goaltender lucas johnson didnt have to stand on his head all the time their record would have been alot better but like i said hands down i would take johnson over wiggins
