Shaping up to be one of the best.

Post by Pucknutz69 »

This year is looking like it could be a very competitive Tourney. Look at the teams playing for the ticket to the dance.

Lakville North vs Lakeville South - either won't get far

Edina vs Burnsville - Edina won't be denied!

Rosemount - Woodbury - either could spoil someones fun

Hill vs White Bear Lake - can't fight history with these 2 first round suzys, but both are very good teams. They have proved it all year hopefully they don't beat each other up too bad Friday night, what a game.

Centennial/Maple Grove vs Blaine/Rodgers - I see Cent vs Blaine then Centennial riding thier roller coaster season to St Paul. They definately know how to win when it counts, past history bantams and peewee champs.

Minnetonka vs BSM - This will be another barnburner, I can't even pick a winner.

Cloquet vs Anoka - Jokinen is a very nice player love the speed. taking ANoka

Roseau vs Moorhead - Hopefully Moorhead puts up a better fight, scare the Rams a little. Just a speed bump toward Edina.

You asked for it.

St Cloud Cat. vs Duluth Denfeld = St Cloud always been a fan of Nate Schmidt. Would like to see them in 3rd place.

Little Falls vs Alexandria = Like Alexandria but not yet next couple of years for them, but they might feed off the girls success.

Duluth Marshall vs Hibbing = Duluth Marshall takes it all the way to a rematch with STA (rematch as in earlier in the year)

Warroad vs EGF = Warroad could be the spoiler for STA or MArshall depends on Touney brackets

Roch Lourdes vs Mankato West = Lourdes will be playing for 3rd at least 1 Rochester team is getting the good players

Blake and Breck = Blake draws from the experience from last year. might see them playing for 3rd vs Lourdes

New Ulm vs Litchfield = Taking New Ulm neither will be a factor, Litchfield is the only team in both classes that is sub .500 to get this far.

St Thomas vs South St Paul = interesteing but not even close STA by 4 then on to the SHIP vs Dul. Marshall can they make it interesting this time, last game was 8-2 DM.

Depending on draws I see an all Private winners bracket. With Duluth Marshall taking the prize.
