Squirt A District Champions List

I was wondering who are the top teams in each of the districts for Squirts this year? I know some have playoffs and others just league games. Please post for the districts you know. It would be fun to follow them teams next year at the PeeWee level and see how they change.

D3 does not show a standings for Squirts, anybody know how they stand?

Maple Grove and Osseo are considering combining the Squirt and PeeWee's...combining would take them up a notch in terms of competitiveness.

The Districts as per the Mn Hockey section concerning Squirt hockey do not keep standings for any squirt or girls 10 teams. Some for their tournament draw names out of the hat and some have coaches rank the teams in order.

District 10 ranked all the teams by standings for the playoffs last weekend, so it can't be a MN hockey thing. I talked to a Dist 5 parent this morning. They do not have a league playoff. The regular season is just about done with the current standings.
1. STMA (12-0)
2. Sartell 2 losses Hutch and STMA
3. Buffalo 2 losses STMA and Sartell

District 10 uses Coaches rankings to place the teams at all squirt and girls 10 levels. If you read their minutes they are asking the associations to have their coaches get the rankings to their coordinators. If you have information otherwise I am sure the District Director or his assistant would like to be informed.

Slapshot88 you may want to check your info on District 2. White Bear is the class of distirct 2 this year. Some even argue they are a better team even with the departure of of Wahlin. Checking their website, they are 26-4-1 this year. Pretty lofty numbers. Looks like they have only lost one district game all year and that was to Forest Lake way back in November (1st game of year). Not too mention they just went 4-1 in Fargo - not bad...

Stillwater is decent and actually beat WB back in a Thanksgiving tournament but have since lost to them and tied them once. MV and NSP are horrendus...

D2 Squirts - White Bear and Roseville will make it to the Champ. Should be good game !!! Stillwater lost to Forest Lake. Go Bears

Sorry Rock Head Stillwater beat F.Lake 8-7!

Setting up the rubber match for the Ponies and WBL.

Got to score early on WBL not much offense, defensively sound and big!

Should be a great game!

Bears thumped Stillwater 3-0 on Sunday. Then beat up on Roseville 5-1 in the championship last night. Looks like the Bears coasted to the D2 championship. Great year for White Bear.

Congradulations to WBL Squirts for D2 Championship. They are a sound defensive team as I have seen all year long.

Would have been a good game to see Edina vs WBL Squirt A's.

To bad, maybe next year.
