But were talking about whats been proven here, and not because "watchdog or BIAFP says". To say Roseau is #1 is an opinion, and its arguable due to a less than stellar SOS. And one thing I know about packerboy is that if its arguable, he will argue it. It just so happens I agree with him.
You are right Neut but all seriousness aside, I am not saying Roseau shouldnt be #1 just to be difficult or argue something. I really dont believe that they deserve it.
If Edinas was 19-6 or something, fine but they lose 2 games by one goal each to BSM and Tonka and so that puts them at #2 because Roseau is undefeated with that schedule. Bullship.
TWO losses - enough said regardless of schedule.
Sure strength of schedule will be discussed - so will many other considerations. You're only point is Roseau should be seeded lower because of schedule ALONE - weak in my opinion.
The Rams are the defending champions with zero losses. How could they not be #1? Until someone beats the champ they deserve the #1 seed. It's that simple.
Compelling discussion regarding the #2 seed. I think Edina should get it over BSM despite the Christmas loss. Edina has one less loss.
Question: Could BSM move over to the Classic Lake? It's a good school; sports are good. It's in the neighborhood. Why not? Obviously, they had nothing to do with the "classic" part of the Classic Lake. (That's not a rip on not being classy.) But there's only 5 teams.

Interesting thought. I would bet that they might like their current conference affiliation a bit better speaking of strength of schedule

Agreed! Usually head-to-head means more to me not this time cause I'm from Edina, but Edina has been ranked ahead of BSM all year and played a very hard schedule.
All 8 coaches will vote Roseau the #1 seed, it's a no-brainer. People have their opinions and are pretty passionate about it, but i doubt the coaches will seed Roseau #3 because of Packerboy's opinion. Actually, i think at least 7 of the 8 coaches would laugh at Packerboy's opinion.

No, at least 8 of the 8 coaches would laugh at that opinion
packer boy i said roseau schedule would be weaker if we played ssp. i wasnt wrong. other than the bottom few we played you take out a vast majority and add ssp schedule is weaker. who cares i only have to wait alittle over a week now.

2. Edina
3. Hill-Murray, if they beat White Bear
4. Benilde-St. Margaret's

Take yo' pick: Blaine/Cenennial/Anoka
other half of Section 5 (Centennial/Blaine) and 7 (Cloquet/Anoka)
Rosemount/Woodbury
Lakeville N or S
There is a good chance Benilde gets seeded #3 and they swap with Hill-Murray. B-SM owns wins over Shattuck, Minnetonka, and Edina - very impressive.
IF White Bear beats Hill-Murray it looks a little different.
1. Roseau
2. Edina
3. Benilde-St. Margaret's
4. Centennial/Blaine winner or Anoka, if they beat Cloquet

if hill loses it will be
1. Roseau
2. Edina
3. Benilde
4. Centennial/Blaine winner
