Demon

Post by jackstraw »

After some investigating, I figured it out. Demon is putting the hate on 1A because of the whippings his Little Falls bunch has had at the hands of 1A at the State Tourney. Heck, a bantam team from 1A even took home the hardware from his bantam tourney a year ago! You go girl! Just to keep on topic, I like West tonight, Ken deserves it.

I like the way the mankato people are playing the "us against the world" card. I hope it works for ya, I would rather see west at state but either team should fare pretty well if 1a gets seeded or gets a good draw.

My first visit here since last Saturday Jackstraw, but I have to agree.

Sounds like they're up 2-1.

Good luck to the Canuck!

Have to say they are for real.
Play well up there.

They did it. They proved to be the best team in the section. It's got to feel good.

Nice job West. I think back to walking in All-Seasons quite a few years ago and seeing the West coach out on the ice running the mite practice, and another time walking in for a tournament and seeing him and his wife at a counter putting in time for the youth association. Those things make it all the sweeter for the community at large. Once again, congrats to West, but don't stop now, keep it rolling.

Well, not a bad game, although limited scoring chances for both sides, not much end to end in this one...

West scored on 1st and fourth shots of the game for them. West 1st line has some great hands and good hockey sense, but not true skaters I thought I would see... Lievermann; great hands and one can see he has very good hockey sense, but will have to improve strength and skating before getting to Mankato State...

Lourdes took 41 shots, 40 were from beyond the dots, one from inside the dots, and guess what it went in. Lourdes is a balanced team w/ little individual standout play, and that hurt them tonight. They seem content to dump & chase, cycle w/ three behind the net, or simply skate the puck down the side boards. I don't think I saw them take it to the net once in the game. Also, for those who play West next week, the high slot was wide open, and Lourdes never looked there, and only once took advantage of it on their lone goal.

West congrats on going to state, great for the community, enjoy!

Seemed to me that Lourdes was just throwing out any line when ever. Well Lourdes was the one seed correct! essay got to match his lines where he wanted. Were as if Lourdes coach could have dictated alot of miss matches to change the game and didn't.

I did notice that Lourdes was running 6 d the through out the game.

Not to say our 4 d were any better but we won!

FYI Section Championship play the big dogs

mankato did and that is why they won!

I agree with Sparks. Gill threw his lines out right after the whistle and Essay was able to match what HE wanted. What does it say that Essay went with his 3rd line for a good part of the night against Lourdes 1's. Hats off to the Scarlets. They deserved it. Can someone from Roch tell me why Gill put Voight in the box for the too many men? Wouldn't you want your best players on the ice to try to tie it up?

Lourdes players worked very hard. West worked harder. West's goalie had the edge over Lourdes goalie. Lourdes outcoached. I was wondering the same as to why #14 went to the box for the too many men on the ice penalty. Made no sense to me.
