The cougars looked slow and very selfish tonight.

Centennial was flying in the first period. They had Blaine on their toes when I showed up about 5 or 10 minutes into the game. As soon as they got down by 2 goals, they quit. I thought that was horrible. You can come back and score some goals yourself, ya know. Or at least lose trying. I don't pay $5.00 to watch you guys suck.

Hats off to the Blaine goal tender. He has done excellent work in the last 2 games, and he looks just like Macaulay Culkin. Maybe not quite as skinny, but still the same facial features. And I'm a big Home Alone fan.

Does anyone know the rules on music during play? I thought it was illegal to play music during a hockey game (when the puck is in play), and both bands were playing after the puck was dropped. Blaine once or twice for about a minute, and Centennial for nearly a full song at the beginning of the 3rd. Their team was on the power play, too. I thought that could have been a distration, and didn't think they were doing their team any favors.

A year or two ago someone told me if the radio is on and a goal is scored, it can/will be waived off. Is this true, and if so does it apply to bands? I've never seen that before and was kind of suprised. Also isn't it kind of band etiquette to take turns playing songs? Blaine's band cut off Centennial and starting playing while Centennial was, I thought that was kind of funny.

6-1 Blaine. Three straight section titles. Can we call it a dynasty? i think it's only right.

Not to take anything away from Blaine, they deserved to win. But for Centennial, with the talent they have, the #1 seed, to lose 6-1 in a section final is inexcuseable. I'm not saying they should've easily won, but I never saw a 6-1 outcome. They quit, especially in the 3rd period.

They were lazy with the puck, their weak clearing attempts cost them, tried to make to many stick moves and couldn't hit the net. Their goaltending which was a problem all year was bad again tonight. Hanna let in some weak ones I thought.
This team underperformed all year.

For Blaine Mike Schaber played a great game.

What's the status on Pitlick for next year? Any chance he'll be back or will he leave to play juniors?

What about Centennial goaltending? Who fills that spot?

Well 92, Centennial has been in the Bantam A Championship game 5 out of the last 7 years. They didn't just make it to state, C-h-a-m-p-i-o-n-s-h-i-p G-a-m-e. Bantam A coach Karl Rasmussen does a great job. Now for some reason, these kids forget everything at the next level.

More than fair analysis...

Agreed, and Harpers play in nets was outstanding too.

Pitlick probably will be gone to either NDTP or Tri-City.

Goaltending will probably be Tanner Pap and Brett Larsen.

Neut,

Given the success Cent has in their feeder program & then not continuing the progression at the high school level, is Aus safe there?

Also, is Brett Larsen the younger brother of Jake?
