Youth Skates
What are your opinions on best skates for a Squirt.
My respoonse would be the skate that fits the best. Last year I spent a lot of money on 2 pair of skates only to find out I was being sold the model that the store had left in inventory. Once he found a pair that FIT teh best he was very happy.
We ended up with a bauer 70 for a squirt aged player. My son has liked them.

Yes, There are not many squirts that weigh 200 lbs or are taking 100 mph slapshots in the ankle.slasher wrote:When I went to purchase skates. I went to two stores. They both told me the same thing. The Vapor XXXX's were not a good skate for youth players. The boot is way to stiff.
Has anyone heard the same thing? I ended up buying the Vapor XXII's and my son loves them.
Some brands are narrower/wider than others in the same size. If the Vapor
XVI's of XXII's fit your childs foot well, I feel they are a good skate for the money.
