David Eddy Full Ride to St. Cloud
I heard that today he was offered a full ride to St.Cloud
Re: David Eddy Full Ride to St. Cloud
There is a very big difference between being offered and accepting.iceman7 wrote:I heard that today he was offered a full ride to St.Cloud
We don't need to hear unless somebody has accepted.
SCSU and everybody in the WCHA offers the maximum amount of full ride scholarships. I thought that everybody was receiving a full scholarship, but I was wrong.mulefarm wrote:With the limited number of full scholarships and that St. Cloud is fairly inexpensive I doubt they have too many player on fulls. If you get 75% it is still a good deal. Congrats to David.
NCAA ice hockey scholarship limits:
* Men’s D1 ice hockey programs may each offer 18 scholarships.
* Women’s D1 and D2 ice hockey programs are permitted 18 each.
* Men’s D2 ice hockey programs are limited to 13.5 per program.
I have not heard anything about David Eddy receiving an offer.

There is no D2 in ice hockey, only D1 and D3.ozzie679 wrote:SCSU and everybody in the WCHA offers the maximum amount of full ride scholarships. He might have been offered, but there's no way it was a full ride. Here's what their future roster looks like as of today...Govs93 wrote:He was offered?
Did he accept?

The Huskies had 9 defenseman (including Swanson) and 15 forwards (including Сunti and Gale) to start this season (29 players). So, a full roster will have two more players on it, likely one each at forward and defense. Also, they'll probably move Oliver back to 2010 and lose Nodl to the pros. Eddy, Lehrke, and Landman would certainly be good candidates for replacements. There's got to be a couple of Canadians on Motzko's radar as well, I imagine.
