The CLC was originally formed on December 16, 1975, with the charter members being: Alexandria, Brainerd, Little Falls, St. Cloud Apollo, St. Cloud Tech, and Willmar. The conference began in 1977-78 school year and our new members are Rocori (1988-89), Sartell/St. Stephen (1995-96), Sauk Rapids/Rice (2001-02)and Fergus Falls (2005-06). And just for the record my point about having the play the number one team was based on the fact that the number 1 team in class A has won in the last 3 years so like I said your going to have to do it at some point and time most likely if you want to win, and either way it doesn't matter which top 4 seed the small falls would have gotten because they wouldn't have beaten any of them....
