Where to buy jerseys?
I think some of these high school hockey jerseys would be sick to buy. I've searched online, but maybe the wrong way. Would I basically have to travel to the city and buy it there?

I must be dense (or, perhaps, it's just because it's after midnight and I'm tired!!), but I'd like to buy, for example, Mike Lee's game-worn jersey. I don't want to "customize" anything. Just want the real deal.pondyplayer93 wrote:you can buy a Roseau jersey with custom number and nameMrRoseau wrote:Yeah, but I'd be interested to buy a couple of jerseys of the players from this year's tournament.hockeywatcher4 wrote:i belive the website is vintagejerseys.com

It won't happen. The teams don't even give them to their own players, let alone sell them to the general public.MrRoseau wrote:I'd like to buy, for example, Mike Lee's game-worn jersey. I don't want to "customize" anything. Just want the real deal.
If you want an authentic high school team jersey. Go to the schools head coach or AD and ask them who sews there jersey's. Then go to that store and ask them for a jersey that you could purchase.
I'm not sure if they go here anymore but Johnson Governors had there jersey's sewn at Cunninghams Sports in SSP.
Well, I’m not looking for the team to give me one. I’d expect to buy it.Cabela10 wrote:It won't happen. I mean, what does it cost a team to have a jersey made? A hundred bucks? If so, then it would make sense for the team to sell a jersey for $200 or $300, wouldn’t it?

Wrong. You can buy game worn jerseys from the coach. After the 04-05 season me and my brothers each bought a jersey. Mine is #24 which was an extra that wasn't worn. The other two jerseys were game worns by Zach Morse and Joe Stejskal.Cabela10 wrote:It won't happen. Teams pay around $90 per jersey if they buy all of them together as one order. If teams were to sell individual jerseys after every year, they would have to replace individual jerseys every year. If they were to order just 1 or 2 custom jerseys at a time, the prices would skyrocket.MrRoseau wrote:Well, I’m not looking for the team to give me one. Everyone hates private schools (and Edina)!!
So if two or three jerseys get worn out/torn up, a team will replace all of its jerseys rather than purchase two or three replacements?komada77 wrote: Teams pay around $90 per jersey if they buy all of them together as one order. That doesn't make any sense.
They order more than they need for that reason. You can get them numbered relatively inexpensively, so most schools will have a stock of blanks on hand.MrRoseau wrote:So if two or three jerseys get worn out/torn up, a team will replace all of its jerseys rather than purchase two or three replacements?komada77 wrote: Teams pay around $90 per jersey if they buy all of them together as one order. Most schools use bakkasports for the jersey template, and Bakka will not touch an order of less than 12 jerseys. After Bakka makes the templates then the jerseys get sent to a local embroidery shop to have the logos/numbers sewn on.MrRoseau wrote:So if two or three jerseys get worn out/torn up, a team will replace all of its jerseys rather than purchase two or three replacements?komada77 wrote: Teams pay around $90 per jersey if they buy all of them together as one order. Years ago, a friend of mine's mom made the Elk River hockey jerseys. Now I'm not 100% positive it was high school level jerseys, but I swear she said it was. I asked her about making me one, and off the top of her head (meaning she didn't make any calls to ask for me or anything), she said she couldn't due to some copyright infringement business, or something to that effect. I forget her exact words it was a while ago.
Call up Mr. G. and say you want to make a very sizable donation to RHS athletics. I am sure for the right amount, he will get Lee's jersey for you after the tourney.MrRoseau wrote:So if two or three jerseys get worn out/torn up, a team will replace all of its jerseys rather than purchase two or three replacements?komada77 wrote: Teams pay around $90 per jersey if they buy all of them together as one order. Jerseys
I am an owner of a few High school jerseys, I simply got in contact with the coach(s) after the season was done, and some teams have extra's around from a previous year that maybe a player never bought for himself after they were done, or when a team is getting new ones for the upcoming season. I paid anywhere from $25-50 each for these, I purchased an Edina jersey from the school at a Spring sport clearance sale, it's the old green, gold, and white one, (my personal favorite), that's the only one I will devulge because it was technically a public sale on equipment.
