to all the people who say LDC has no chance.. they made it to state and you can't take that away from them... i think they will turn some heads at with warroad.. i'm picking LDC 3 Warroad 2 LDC's goalie will stand on his head.. making amazing save after amazing save....
i agree with him LDCs goalie Lucas Johnson is playing very very well right now.. he plays even better under pressure the Warriors can not come into this game thinking they are going to blow right by LDC bc it could come up and bite them in the ass so i see the game 4-3 Dragons shocking Warroad and the State.

So the most PR has done is two trips to playoffs in one year. Say the play offs are in EGF, Warroad makes three trips, 2.5 hrs each trip. 2.5 hrs times 3 trips equals 7.5 hours total. Has PR ever had to do it three times? And BTW, TRF to PR is only 20 miles farther than TRF to Warroad. Warroad to EGF is actually further than PR to EGF. So, when you factor in that Warroad has the added expense and time spent on the bus with that dreaded third trip to sections, PR actually has it figured out. It's way cheaper and easier to just lose before the finals! Nice job!
See ya in St. Paul, unless it's too far for ya.

Litch vs Warroad
I just have to say this: If Warroad is so go why are they playing A??? I think Litch has a chance if there goalie plays as he did in the playoffs.

But did the goalie see the same caliber of hockey in their playoffs that they will see in the State Tournament or Section 8 for that matter.

LDC WINS
I say Litchfield wins 4-3 in a nialbitter. I played for LDC and it was a bad thing but knowin what they got here there on FIRE!! Warroad will be a big step for them but they should win. My stats are warroad lost to mound 3-0 or 3-1 and LDC beat mound twice (4-1, 4-2). I know LDC lost to orono twice and warroad beat them but LDC struggles with orono no matter what. GO LDC!!

If you use that logic then Warroad would be at least the #2 seed since they beat Duluth Marshall. Some teams just have better matchups against some teams. Plus, it was early in the season when Warroad played Mound and I'm not sure how they played that night, but they are playing real good as of late.
Prediction: Warroad wins by at least 3, with Dane Shaugabay getting a hat trick.
