I played both teams this year and would have to say they are two of the best we faced. Both goalies didn't impressed me at all. Cathedral has some solid D but i think Birkholz can still burn them. I like Blake's experience though im taking the Upset! This is gonna be a great one can't wait!

Im going to have to go with Blake... I've had a feeling about them all year and think they might have a chance to do some damage at state.

This is Blake's third straight state tournament appearance while no one on the SCC roster knows what its like to play in the state tournament. This played a factor against Blake in 2006 in an opening round loss to Marshall and will probably be a factor for SCC to overcome on Wednesday.

Prediction:

Blake 3
SCC 2

GB, I'm rootin for your squad for the first time ever. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing the Crusaders make the ship and even seeing them win the ship. Unless of course they play a public school.. But that's neither here nor there

Hey Blanda i hope once you arrive at the X they charge you for two tickets cause you wont fit in one, Once you try to sit in a seat i hope you get stuck and they have to bring in the fire and rescue to remove you from the seat. Easy on the consessions blandies  Broken bat i hope you break more than your bat at the X hopfully every bone in your body. Goldy please don't come to the X your stench will fill the arena and all the games will be cancelled.

Two and out for SCC  Boo Hoo Hoo
You predict SCC and LF to both go two and out. In case you decide to join us in reality, take a look at the brackets and find a way that that would be possible. :D

Well, according to the SC Tech folks, that program has all of the local area talent, NOT the Crusaders.

Blake wins 4-3. Teams are pretty even. The best player overall in this game is Schmidt from SCC, but i dont think he can win this game by himself, Blake has the better core group of players, and better tending.

0-0 1st Intermission

Lackluster 1st period. I thought it was a very slow start. Picked up in the last minute when SCC went on the power play and got a handful of shots.

The start to this game makes STA and Little Falls look like NHL powerhouses.

Blake kills off SCC powerplay. (Got lucky when a defensman's rocket hit the post) SCC has a good looking but so far ineffective PP. At least SCC takes shots. Think they had 4 on that one.
