Has Phil Housley Improved his color commentary? Just Brutal!

I really miss Lou, but Phil, you can do better than " Ya wanna getta lotta shots on goal cuz when ya getta lotta shots on goal, you can look up at the scoreboard and see you have more shots" any thoughts on this?

I was very disappointed when Stillwater lost in sections. His leap from high school to the pros shows the importance of a college education. Public Speaking 101 should be on his summer to do list.

I can't stand listening to Housley. He can't pronounce names and he clearly doesn't know most of the players names to begin with. "Great save by Paul Willie!" Come on...

Is Lou Nanne going to be doing the color for the 2A games?

I think Bert Reynolds would be a better pick than Phil for color commentary

I'd rather listen to Housley than see him coaching his team at State.

The Housley Wilson kid is over-rated and his dad is not that good of a commentator. Yikes - he is brutal. I see this happen all the time - you get a job on TV/Radio by name only....see ESPN/CBS/FOX for football coverage as well.

I cannot stand Phil Housley. Honestly, shove a microphone into the hands of almost anyone on here and they'd do better. Every year I hope Stillwater makes the tournament so we don't have to listen to him. And then you contrast him with Lou Nanne, who's practically an object of State Tournament lore. Surely there's some middle ground where they could find a decent 2nd color guy.
