Pioneer Press Hockey Coverage

Post by chester1991 »

I understand things have changed at the Pioneer Press in the last few years, but this is what you give us? I took nothing from this coverage. Back in the day they had a 10 page pull out that broke down each team from the strengths to weakness to schedule and player stats.

Maybe they could have another article on Brett Favre. Do we live in Wisconsin? The Minnesota High school Hockey Tournament brings in millions of dollars to downstown St.Paul restraunts, bars, and businesses. The Pioneer Press needs to do a better job.

They're not run locally anymore (haven't been for years - hence the annual deterioration of the hockey coverage). They don't give a crap about hockey, the community, their employees or anything else in the state.

I haven't anything worthy in the Tribune of Pioneer Press the last five years or so.
