The history of section 206
I was wondering if a few of you can fill me in on the history of this section and why it has built up so much hype over the years.
I noticed one game, as far as I know it was the original section 206 kids, in the 2002 state tournament. I believe it was made up of Roseville students. They were ranked pretty high, lost one game all year, but lost to the Holy Angels in the semis, and they were quite upset about it. I remember a chant or two of "Holy S !" during the next game, but I couldn't remember much else, except for security corralling the entire section out during that Holy Angels/Hill Murray championship.
Who else can shed some light on any other 206 memories/experiences/facts/206 patented chants/etc.?

That was the start. A bunch of immature brats mad their team finished third and Hill-Murray finished second when Roseville had absolutely crushed Hill (wsorst loss ever) during a Christmas Tournament game. The kids acted like kids, and got thrown out on their rumps for it. But hey, that is the best part of high school. Every year we get a year older and they stay the same age.Mr. McTabish wrote:I was wondering if a few of you can fill me in on the history of this section and why it has built up so much hype over the years.

206 is made up of North st paul, Monticello, Delano and maybe a few other teams I can't really remember. Due to hightened security the past two years 206 has been a little weak. However Nacho Libre made his apperance. What i would consider that best 206 moment was in 06 when our whole section got up and went down to Holy angles Student section and started chanting public schools. One kid was on a another kids shoulders it was preety sweet. Security came and threw the whole section out!

Hill students are attending the game tomorrow? Whoa. Are these "fans" the same ones who thought that $10 was a little too steep for a Schwans Cup ticket? I hope they can scrounge up enough cash for admission..SECHockeyFan wrote:I'm surprised you guys didn't just buy a suite for the 16 students you'll have at the game.sachishi4 wrote:good thing HM's student section is 204!

Ah, well you claimed that, with a wide array of other excuses, some "fans" from Hill thought $10 was too steep which is why Hill didn't have a student section at the X that night. Just curious if Hill's fair weathered fans plan to make the trip.sachishi4 wrote:haha i was probably the only one who couldnt scronge up 10 bucks. too bad daddy doesnt pay for everything.

Sachishi, how'd all those fat chicks get in the front row in the section final? That is going to hurt future HM recruiting.sachishi4 wrote:yes, they are comingCFM™ wrote:Ah, well you claimed that, with a wide array of other excuses, some "fans" from Hill thought $10 was too steep which is why Hill didn't have a student section at the X that night. Extremely amazing since Holy Angels was not in the tournament in 2006....Mostly this is a bunch of kids who feel they can go in the arena, act like idiots and take the fun out of the tournament for everyone who is there to enjoy the tournament....Gr8stEver587 wrote:206 is made up of North st paul, Monticello, Delano and maybe a few other teams I can't really remember. How big are these Holy Angles? 90 degrees would be pretty impressive..Gr8stEver587 wrote:206 is made up of North st paul, Monticello, Delano and maybe a few other teams I can't really remember.
