Lake vs. Northwest

Post by pondyplayer93 »

People are always talking about how great the Lake Conference is on here, but I think I found a conference that could rival it for the best in the state

Lake
9 Burnsville
14 Eastview
17 Eden Prairie
23 Jefferson
24 Rosemount
40 Lakeville South
71 Apple Valley

Northwest Suburban
6 Centennial
8 Blaine
13 Anoka
22 Osseo
32 Champlin
44 Elk River
45 Maple Grove
53 Coon Rapids
55 Andover

Rankings from minnhock
top 75 only are listed
Hill-Murray
St. Thomas

7 of ten of those in NWSC... basically district 10, and it always been strong.

Do the NWSC vs. the SEC. The Lake is overrated.

Lake PS2 ave = 17.17
SEC PS2 ave = 17.27
NWSC PS2 ave = 18.11
The only soft spot I see is the one between my legs

I prefer this one:

State Tourney Hardware since 2000-

Lake- 1 (Cons. in 2001)
NWSC- 6 (4 1st, 1 3rd, 1 Cons.)
SEC- 6 (1 1st, 1 2nd, 2 3rd, 2 Cons.)

That's even better! :D

I agree, I think the Lake has a tendency to be overrated be you do have to admit they come through some tough sections to get to state.

The lake is the best conference. It has the best historic record of any city conference, although the last year was down. I would say if anybody rivaled it on a consistent basis it would have to be the Classic Lake. Saying the NW conference rivals the lake is just ABSURD

If your going to dig up the best conference in "city history", dig deeper.
