how do you figure Cathedral's not better than Little Falls? I don't want to work against myself here, but Cathedral dominated a weak LF team when they played during the season. I only saw the first period of the LF/STA game, but neither of the two LF goals were quality goals. Yes, they were goals, nothing to be taken away, but those goals aren't a representation of the team. Ryan Walters' hat trick is a great representation of what STA is. Senior Captain Tony Mergens is a defenseman playing in his 4th straight tourney. He, along with 5 other senior defensemen, will do a fine job helping their sophomore goalie. 6 of their 8 D are seniors, one junior and one sophomore.

Don't get me wrong, SCC will make a great game, they have a good squad, only lost by 2 to a team that worked STA. But to suggest STA doesn't have good D is crazy.

Sure hope SCC can pull this one out so tomorrow's JV championship game is somewhat close. We already saw how STA stacks up against Marshall.

Interesting....but if Saint Cloud Cathedral wins this game and meets Duluth Marshall for the championship, it will be TWO Cathedral schools meeting...with Marshall being the former "Duluth Cathedral".

Another useless fact from Colonel Kurdatz....and brought to you by Polaroid...the best flashers in the business.

I have the thought that it is disrespectful to stand the whole game like St. Thomas students do during games. It makes the fans around them not have a pleasureable time at the game because they can't see the other end of the rink. If you want to stand the whole game, go sit upstairs.

I understand the frustration of sitting next to people who stand the whole game, but if there is a problem then they can move. There are many student sections that stand the entire game.

Why should they have to move? I bet those fans in the sections next to them were there before those lame cadet fans got there. Sit down.

Ha Ha, maybe Phil should coach a Class A school so his team doesn't get killed by AA schools.

I see Adam Hausers dad still doing intermission stuff. What does Adam do now days after the Gophers?

I'm sure they are sorry for being spirited and wanting to support their team...

Ideally, in my opinion, students from both classes should be right behind the net with the bands, so they can bring more energy to the bottom bowl.
