PB, it's personal perference. If I choose to show my utter disgust for the way the tournament is run by having my seats empty that's my choice. If you want to go that's your choice.

I'll turn on the rodents and bulldogs, do somework around the house or head down to the auditoiumand watch some real small schools play basketball. It may be high school hockey, but to me it's not worth the effort.

Champ, about 25% of the people in our state are Catholics. A lot of that 25 % send their kids to Catholic schools.

Do you really think a lot of us give a flying flip about Edina or Roseau or Section 1?

If most of us turn on the TV and hear another stupid bleepin feature about how charming this or that poor witto school is, we'll gag.

But if thats who is in the final, we will be there. Maybe it will take until the middle of the 2nd period for some of us to figure out who to root for, but we'll be there.

We'll be there cuz its High School Hockey. Doesnt matter the schools.
People in "bigger" schools aren't the only ones getting tired of the poor witto Roseau thing.

Who to cheer for at the State Tournament

"A and AA Minnesota State Hockey Tournament" has exactly 3 to many letters in it. It should be "THE Minnesota State Hockey Tournament". Enough said; almost.

4 classes in B-ball, 2 classes in hockey, and all the rest leave you with exactly NO state champions because the argument is always "what if" team 2A had played team 4A and all you have is a nice hand full of "what if".

One class worked for years and made for (arguably) the most revered state tournament in the United States of America. Just go back and close this discussion down.

Actually I always thought it would be a neat idea (although it will NEVER happen) if the A and AA champions play each other for the ultimate title.

Like I said, it will never happen, but it would be interesting in another timeline if it were possible...

Ah the "what ifs".....

Packerboy - The privates (catholics) are good at recruiting. Got get some altar boys and fill the place. Until then STA will just be JV Champs. The 1A game is a joke.

I will not attend a 2A hill murray vs. benilde either, however I am sure the altar boys would hang around for the evening session.

Recruiting isnt all we are good at K Dope. We also have all the money and every other advantage. We wouldn't have it any other way.

If you dont want to be at the game, at least come to Mass on Sunday.

You need all the money to payoff your Priest's wrong doings. Advantage non-catholics.
