Irish11, so does that make me a true fan then?
"Getting out of hand?" This is the state tourney for pete's sake. Maybe play seniors more because it's their second to last game, but you shouldn't ask them to turn it down in the state tourney.
Because one team happens to play an individual team better than another team they are the better team? "one game doesn't make a season"

Ouch.
Cathedral is letting it get pretty bad.
They let a guy sleep behind the play and scored on a break that should've been covered by the defense, after they themselves almost scored,
Then a very very very VERY soft goal goes in. Come on. You gotta get in front of those ones! You can't take anything for granted here.
St. Thomas is a very very good team. Well disciplined as well, but this score shouldn't be this lopsided and it is because of critical errors and the Cadets ability to capitalize on them.
This wasn't the effort I saw of the Cathedral team that shut down the Hunters potent scoring line a few weeks ago. This is just getting sloppy. Even the coach admitted it during the intermission.

There have been some very SOFT goals.
Time to get rid of Maier’s. Should have been pulled after the first. Or at least after 4 goal after 6 shots.
Have any of you heard this one before?
The goalies (Maier’s) mom works at the local paper and this is why he gets all the HYPE in the head line for making 7 saves in a game that Cathedral wins 4 to 1.

This is the time for the other goalie to get some ice time at the tourney.Stealth wrote:There have been some very SOFT goals.

I disagree, although they have such a strong lead, altricter needs to see as much ice time as possible so he feel confident if and when he takes the ice tomorrow at noon. He needs to have the security of a 7 goal lead and still be able to make such saves and play clear headed as he has been doing so for the last 3 minutes.pipersniper12 wrote:This is the time for the other goalie to get some ice time at the tourney.Stealth wrote:There have been some very SOFT goals.

what crap, its an embarrassment for their school that they dont compete with the big boys but would rather beat up on little schools. Imagine if HM didnt opt up, you would probably be so up in arms I can't even imaginedeacon wrote:don't even start with that crap.saintpaulhockey wrote:Is STA having fun? Do they think they merit serious respect for these kind of games? They have the talent to play with the big boys, just not the courage. What an embarrassment.
