Cathedral got lucky with their draw in the first round draw. They can just be happy to be playing all there games at the X.

how do you think they will do in the third place game?

This also show a that offence can SCORE more goals than DEFENCE!

you need to relax, they have to play a team that beats them 8-2 earlier this year.

well everyone will make excuses, but like I said before if you want to be the best you have to beat the best, and Little Falls or Makato West didn't come close. Good luck to STA & Marshall, hope it's a better game then the one I just seen.

Not much to say other than... that could have gone better....

No defense for SCC, and that won't work against a team like STA.

No tears shed for LF though... all they had to do was beat STA and they could have been at this game.

Tomorrow's game should be a good one! I'm not sure who I'm rooting for, probably Marshall School of Duluth..

St Thomas beat up on Benilde at the X, lost to Hill by two at home and lost in OT to Hill at the X. So, if St Thomas wins tomorrow, that makes them either number 2 or 3 in state, right?

I think it's funny that everyone calls it the JV tourney when these "JV" players could mostly all skate with the "big boys"

PS we not only beat Beniled and took HM to OT had the game won and totally outplayed them until STA took a couple bad penalties. Also Beat AA big bad Blaine oh yeah 7-2.
They are 10-3 against AA schools this year and also beat Cretin twice in 7 days. They paly a strong schedule every year.

As I have said many times no one was complaining when they were only winning 4-7 games just ahandful of years ago and getting blown out most o fthe time.

AHA thats right they play alot of real powerhouse outside their non conference schedule.

Give it a rest. Most schools don't loose guys like STA everyyear. And they dont only loose juniors for their senior year Crandall, Larson Lee back to Edina,
They loose freshmen and sophomores Schroeder and next year Walters for sure an d great chance Isaakson to NDTP.

STA is top 4 in State hands down.
what I also find very humerous callin this a JV event. I do beleive currently the JV side has more guys already committed D1 and more guys that have left they already D1.

STA 4 plus Isackson very soon Shroeder was

Littl Falls 3 plus bergland very soon

Warroad 4 oh yeah and TJ Oshoe played JV
Mankato West 2
SCC 1

3 of the Gophers 5 2010 recruits are palying in this years JV tournament. And the U17 Natioanl team that won Silver in Prague this past summer had those 3 jv recruits on the team also

Guess what guys or gal like you that have probably not had much success just can't stand when peolple do well. Yeah and it says your location Red Wing.
Thats right Johnny Pohl one of the greatest Gophers of all time and NHL player played a JV schedule and in the JV tournament.

Its amazing almost if you did a ration of A teams to AA and players to enrollment. Actually how many more JV players are getting scholarships than Varsity players.

I guess someone know something.
