Andover Huskies

Post by TheHockeyDJ »

This team played a tough Anoka team tooth and nail in the quarters this year. Anyone think Andover is an emerging power, and do you think the Huskies will reach Semi-final Saturday at the DECC?

I think anything can happen... Did anyone think Cloquet was going to make it to State this year?...

I wasn't surprised to see CEC make it. I think most reasonable fans thought it to be a toss up between GR, DE, Anoka, and CEC. No team stood out over the others this year. I'll be more suprised if CEC makes it next season. If I had to make my picks for the 7AA final next year I'd say East vs. Rapids.

Not for a while, too young and have a inexperienced coach who needs to learn the basics first.

Watch out for Andover this coming year to make some noise in section 7AA. Not saying there gunna bring home the title. But I think they will surprise some people. For being to young, they'll have a team of a hand full of seniors and quite a few juniors who have all had some varsity time.
