same weekend

Post by Tenoverpar »

Too bad this tournament and the Superseries are the same weekend, would be nice to get both sides together and have their champions at each division play each other..or schedule them seperate so players don't have to have an either or.

So big weekend in spring hockey going on..Selects - Superseries - and VFW playoffs all taking place...so much for baseball practice.

Pat Quinn was watching the 98 South girls play yesterday. He looked like he is in good health. I'm not sure of the connection to the team.

BTW - The Aney girl from Rochester scored 4 goals in that game.

No surprise

The Aney girl is the best U10 in the state, hands down. Looks like a lot of EP girls in there too, don't see any Edina kids.

We just returned from my son's first experience at the Selects Festival, he is a '98, so it's his first year of being eligible.

Although his team did not do too well, he had a great time. It was nicely organized and most of all he had FUN! It was a great experience to play with kids from other associations. His first comment to me after the practices this week was, "Mom! I made some new friends!".
