Spring Leagues?

Post by JohnsonGuy »

Are there any leagues that someone could suggest to me for my son and his friends to play in? They are Varsity high school players and it appears that i have already missed the showcase league sign-up. Any help? thanks

Yea i got a buddy whos putting together a spring team out of St. Paul. Like a AAA league that will play in tier 1 showcase and through the summer in tournaments here and there. Said he was charging like $250 a player. He already made the silk jerseys and has the socks and everything. planning on playing in 3-4 tournaments in AAA league across the state this summer and some random exhibition games here and there. Give him a call hes lookin for i think 10 more guys with varsity experience. Give him a call 952 994 3970. his names Ronald Drops. He goes by Renee so call him that when u talk to him. Tell him Rosco Hergott Told ya to call. Hope this info helps!

JohnsonGuy - what exactly are you looking for in a league? Just a place to get a jersey, or something competitive? There is not a lot out there in the spring unless you are hooked up with one of the top AAA type teams already. By your name I would think you are from the Johnson area, have you talked to Moose at all about this? He should be able to steer you in a direction.

My suggestion would be to continue skill development work instead of a showcase league. You need to be careful who you get involved with when it comes to spring type leagues. Like I said above, not knowing what your agenda really is makes it harder to try and help you out.

well these kids are going to be seniors and they play spring sports, so they're mainly looking for just a league to get on the ice and try new things, before the serious summer camps begin.
