White Bear Lake beat Roseville 5-1 in the championship today and will advance to vFW state at a high seed.

Roseville will go in as the host team, and Whte Bears first game will be against Wilmar. Birkinbine had 4 goals in todays game, giving him a season total of 78.

White Bear goes into the MAHA state next weekend on an 11 game winning streak.

Who Cares about how many goals this kid has got. His attitude stinks!!!! As far as an 11 game win streak didn't they lose 2 in a row to Shattuck 6-1 & 5-1 a couple of weeks ago. GO EP!!!!!!!!

He was just pointing out how many goals he has. He wasn't exactly boasting about it or something. Not to mention, 78 goals is very impressive, regardless of his attitude.

The Shattuck games don't really mean anything at this point. They were before all playoffs and Shattuck isn't in the league anyways.

Wow, what a game Eagan vs Rosemount. Eagan 3 Rosemount 2 5 overtimes. What a great effort from both teams. Didn't think Rosemount had a chance but they played well in VFW districts beating a good River Heights team in 2 ot.

Advanced 16 tryouts are scheduled the same weekend as the VFW state. I would imagine that this will affect a number of teams playing in the tournament.

This is poor planning (regardless of Easter) and another example of why the VFW has and always will be the "JV" of state tournaments.

All Advance 16 players are selected by their High School Coach, not the Bantam Coach.(The Bantam Coaches select only 15's) I would say if they are selected for the advance 16 they played last year for the High School team, not the Bantam team. It should not affect any team in the VFW State Tournament.

Other than the fact that our team will be missing about 10, yes, it won't effect us.
