All Conference Questions

Do they post these teams, and if so, when and where?
How are they picked? Conference coaches would be my guess.
Is there a set number of players that make each conference?
Is the Honorable Mention those that receive votes but not enough to make the All Conference team?

A little helpful knowledge would be appreciated.

A while back I heard from a hockey player that the last team in the conference gets one player for all conference, 2nd to last gets 2, and so on and so forth. I think something like that is used, but that wouldn't make sense if that was how it worked everywhere as conferences are all different sizes.

Each conference has its own way of picking teams and releasing the information. Usually the Star Tribune publishes all the metro area all-conference the teams a week or two after the winter sports season ends.

I've been watching for it but have not seen it yet. I seem to remember the trib publishing all the winter sports together. Now that basketball is done, they might print it next week.

Anything yet? It's almost been a month since hockey ended and there's still no sites that have posted the all-conference honors??
