I am blessed that my former high school has been one of the top teams for my whole life.

Hill-Murray is the definition of "community-based," because how much more close can people be who share faith-based values?

What is your "community" based on? The government? Wasted tax dollars? People you never even see? The neighbor you can't stand, because he is Catholic?

It's too bad that bored bigotry encourages shut-ins to slander Catholics with allegations of dishonesty, instead of participating in the so-called "community" to make it as top-notch as Hill-Murray's programs.

Bless you my son.

Brother pistol has once again shown us how to live our faith , even if it isn't popular or cool with other members of the bored.

mainefan, dont be a "Kerry Catholic" and dont be fooled by posters who cant even bring themselves to describe our schools properly and instead attempt to mask their bigotry like KKK members by use of the term "private".

pistol has been devoted to pulling the white hoods off of their heads. He knows how they would answer the question; "Yah , but would you want your daughter to marry one?"

I think the point would be maybe just a little humility....... :?
As you pulpit pounders should know, those that claim they are the closest are usually the furthest.

And another thing-

PB, you don't get it-It does not matter whether or not the private school is catholic or a jewish day school!!!!! Private schools are private schools no matter what the afilliation is.

BTW you don't have to call me a "Kerry Catholic" to prove to all on the board your superior devotion over, as you believe, mine. All one has to do is read your posts to know that in your own mind you alone have God's ear (or the Pope's). I prefer to worship privately and not bait people into religon bashing.

But I say we get back to the "State Tournament Idea" theme...

Where were we at Hmmmmm :-k

Let's see we know they will never go back to a single tourney.
We know enrollment #'s mean nothing.
We know that the MSHSL is about getting teams from all areas into the Tourney, and biggest $ take, and not necessarily getting the best teams in it.
And we know that this argument will still be around next year.

anything else?

Well, Ok fine mainefan, hide in the catecombs if you like.

But there is a difference between faith based schools and a private school, not only in most peoples minds but from admissions critera to cost to curriculum.

While they are all non public, parochial faith based shools are very different from private.

BTW, I have the ear of both God and the Pope. Anythng I can pass along for a fellow Catholic poster?

Do you pay tuition to go to your school???? It doesn't matter that it is faith based, what the admission criteria is or anything else you want to use to differentiate from other private schools. Bottom line is you pay tuition over and above taxes to send your kid to that school.

Mr. Pioneerprideguy I would be very careful about how you edit others text. I have a few good ones up my sleeve as well. :)

PB-You could ask God or his son for some more communion wine because the stuff he was aging in the catacombs has now been consumed by me to deal with this thread. The saints and I agree that 1635 was a great year for chianti. :)
