Select 16 rosters - some help please

Post by Iceburg »

I'm trying to post rosters for the Select 16 Spring Festival teams on another site. I'm not finding some of the names on high school rosters and I'm guessing alot of the ones I'm not finding were bantam players this year. Wonder if some of you that follow the bantams closer then I do could help.

Helgeson (Faribault)
Sean Lipinski (Faribault)
Jared Docken (Northfield)
Newman (Rosemount)
Turner (Woodbury)
Kyle Mogren (Stillwater)
Christianson (International Falls)
Eddy (Virginia)
Stampohar (Hibbing)
Portner (Andover)

Some first names for some of these players would be nice too.

Thanks, I'll probably have more.

Im sorry but those were definately not the best forwards from the range. Pat Moore, Matt How, and maybe Ryan Dumm were much better for Rapids, but for some reason they didnt get asked to try out but they would have made it over those three in my opinion

i said they were 3 of the best..i didnt say they were they best. theres no way that patty moore and matt how are better than them..i'd say even at best. theres no chance that that dumm kid would have made it hes awful..and patty moore probably would have and matt how might have...they obviously werent too good if they werent noticed enough to get an invite...btw christianson made the 51's tourney and stompohar should have

Not intentionally, is that his real last name? Dumm... Tough draw if it is !! :D

Should always throw the 1st name in there if it is! :D

It is Ryan Dumm. He also has an older brother Nate who was a senior forward on the Indians this past season. Both quality kids and good hockey players.

Each time I read it it makes me laugh because of how it was worded by northhockey13...My apologies to the Dumm's

I travel quite a bit of the Duluth, Moorhead, Gradn Rapids area and get a chance to see some high school and bantam games. To call any high school or A level player "awful" or "sucks" or any other flippant comment used on this board is quite unwarranted. There are a whole lot of great, good and above average Minnesota kids and in this state to be above average is an honor due to the depth of talent. Be glad you are fortunate enough to live in a great country and get the freedom to play a great game.
