Easton Stealth S17?

Post by Bouchard92 »

Just wondering about anyone that has used this stick... Ive heard some good things about them but ive also had a few friends get them and have them break right away. Has anyone else used it? Any thoughts?

Overpriced and they break like crazy. I think they had a design flaw that they will hopefully figure out and fix.

i got a pro stock used one at the hockey expo.. played one game with it and i must say it was the best stick ive ever used. it feels like a woody, one downside is the whip flex as the shaft tapers towards the blade...i sold the stick to my buddy and he snapped the blade right away.. too expensive, but worth it if it were more durable

BUY THE S17 ONLY IF YOU ARE COMPLETELY BRAIN-DEAD

Durability is an absolute joke. Bought it and broke it within 45 min of hitting the ice. It broke where everyone has been breaking them (approx 10" above the blade on the shaft). Easton took over 5 wks to replace it because they were back-ordered...DUH, because they all break if you look at them wrong! Finally received replacement stick...this one lasted 34 days before breaking vertically on the blade, approx 3" in from the toe. Any guesses on Eastons reply when I tried to return it again??? Shouldn't take much imagination.

BUY THE S17 ONLY IF YOU ARE COMPLETELY BRAIN-DEAD OR HAVE $225 BURNING A HOLE IN YOUR POCKET!
