Looks like the Gophs have been losing top prospects to Miami, Omaha, and Notre Dame.

What top recruits have the gophers lost to Miami, Omaha, and Notre Dame??

Are you kidding me...the gophers will always lose out on top recruits. The team can only offer so many scholarships to kids. North Dakota will always have a pipeline to Shattuck so, dont bet on a kid from Shattuck to come here in the near future.

I would love to know what top kids that got away from the gophers are playing for those three teams up above.

He's only saying that because of some former Hill-Murray players that are on those teams now. They definitely weren't top prospects.

I saw Rob Vannelli on the players to watch for defensemen. He is a good player, but certainly not Gopher caliber.

Seems to me Brian Kaufman is playing on a team that was #1 most of the year...

Granted, my brother and I watched some of the Michigan Miami of Ohio game the other day and Miami looked terrible. I have no idea whether Kaufman had a good season there, but I saw him ont he ice and made the connection...

I have personally talked to talked to Mr. Beaudette myself and told me that MSU has been talking to him heavily lately. Nick Bjugstad would also be a very good pick up for the gophs in the years to come, I'd have to say he was the best Freshmen this year in the state.

I know that MSU was talking to Joe Beaudette but he hasnt performed too well in juniors and I think he might end up settling for a D-3 school

What the heck happend to an all minnesota team pretty sure in 02 all but one of the players was from minnesota. and the amount of players in the WCHA comapred to the rest of the states is just a joke minnesota cominates in that catagory. we need to go back to the all minnesota teams then the gophs would dominate no question
