i am pretty sure that a lot of them at hill and bsm would still be there, aha im not so sure aboutkeepyourheadup wrote:Agree to a point, but here's the $1,000,000 question. Would they be there if they didn't play hockey? If the answer is yes, good for them, its when the answer is no that things start to get a little cloudy.

thats a great point, some people who are trying to help their kids, could possibly be hurting them in the long runBlue&Gold wrote:
About a Private School tournament with a Public School tournament. What if... bear with me on this.. but what if they did that, and did away with the A version, just had private and public, and more scouts attended the private school version? Maybe not more fans, but more college and pro scouts... Boggles the mind, doesn't it? AND it's not too far-fetched to think it could happen..
Be careful what you ask for....

That's what you essentially have on the East Coast. The private schools and boarding schools play separately from the public high schools, and with few exceptions are far superior in talent. They therefore attract more college scouts than the public schools do.pondyplayer93 wrote:thats a great point, some people who are trying to help their kids, could possibly be hurting them in the long runBlue&Gold wrote:

Fortunately here in Minnesota we mix it up and as a result our private and public schools are on a more equal footing. The only exception is SSM. Like pondplayer93 says, be careful what you ask for.
