On the old neighbor this morning Brett was quoted as saying it's all rumor..Govs93 wrote:I've been listening to NFL Radio this morning (it would be MLB, but Sirius doesn't have that contract), and it's all talk about Brett Favre's possible return.
The discussion is whether or not the Packers would even want him back at this point, or if they just want to move on. The general feeling seems to be that if he wants to return, the Packers probably wouldn't let him go, even if they want to. But if they did, Peter King (of Sports Illustrated and Inside the NFL) seems to think that he'd end up one other place...
Minnesota.
He's got it narrowed down to a team that's going to win with or without a good QB, but could still use one, and that T-Jack would get to learn from an established, winning veteran - something he really hasn't had before.
There's no way that Favre would ever do that, is there? That's just crazy. If the Packers waive him for whatever reason, I have no doubt that the Vikes would try to get their hooks in him, but he just wouldn't make that choice... right?!
True, I have no doubt that he's not coming back one way or the other, but it is interesting to note that he's not saying "no" like he did a couple of months ago... now it's "just a rumor".Can't Never Tried wrote:On the old neighbor this morning Brett was quoted as saying it's all rumor..Govs93 wrote:I've been listening to NFL Radio this morning (it would be MLB, but Sirius doesn't have that contract), and it's all talk about Brett Favre's possible return.
